• Formal water practice started Tuesday, June 2, with three days a week scheduled. • It was a beautiful day as the PWDCNC supported the entries at the Woofstock Cluster and offered a Sweeptakes on June 6, 2009 in Vallejo. The Judge was Marilyn Rimmer. A great group of members gathered afterwards for a fun PWDCNC potluck picnic.

• A two-day water training workshop presented by Kathryn Monroe is scheduled for July 10-11 -- open to PWDCNC members. Click here for the registration form and more information. The workshop is followed by a one-day Working, Courier and Versatility Water Trial on July 12. Download the premium, entry and volunteer forms; entries close June 23.

• There were some seriously misbehaved dogs last year. Fortunately, this is the year for Presidential Pardons. As the outgoing president, Ali issued pardons at the 2009 Annual Meeting. Click here to download the slideshow.

• The PWDCNC Regional Specialty will be held October 17, 2009, in conjunction with the Del Valle Dog Club at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California. Dr. Betty Trainor will judge conformation. For more information or to volunteer, please call Elaine Rasmussen at 510.583.0170.

• The PWDCNC will be the host club for the 2010 PWDCA National Specialty. The Specialty will be held in San Luis Obispo, California October 1-8, 2010. The 2010 Specialty Leadership Team wants you to help them ensure the specialty is a fun and exciting event. Sherry Hanen made a presentation to the PWDCNC at the annual meeting.
