- PWDCNC JACKPOT WATER TRIALS JULY 31 - AUGUST 1 CLICK TO DOWNLOAD RESULTS
Casino night theme. Many members joined in the fun, trialed, volunteered, and socialized. We watched the PWDs perform exercises based on their history of working with the Portuguese fishermen. Stayed for our famous ducky derby and a great catered dinner Saturday evening. Congratulations to all the teams who participated!

- DOG DAYS IN DIXON -- Saturday, August 7 Supported entry. Results published in the August Wavies & Curlies.
PWDs show at 10:30 a.m. Come by for cheese and crackers and socializing at 11:30 a.m.
- A Junior/Apprentice WATER MATCH Monday July 12 was limited to 20 entries and it filled up quickly. This was part classroom part trial as Karen Pratt narrated Junior and Apprentice demonstrations, judged and coached teams through to the evening. Participants got a chance to learn what a trial feels like and learned how to help set up and run a trial as land and boat stewards. Well done Karen and volunteers!

Golden Gate Kennel Club Dog Show -- January 30 and 31 , 2010 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Cow Palace, San Francisco. This was a benched show which means the public can meet the breeders and their dogs. The PWDCNC set up a Meet the Breed table with literature and the Club's DVD playing.

Results of the 2009 PWDCNC Regional Specialty available for download. Held October 17, 2009, in conjunction with the Del Valle Dog Club All Breed Dog Show at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California with Dr. Betty Trainor, conformation judge. We enjoyed a day of PWD camaraderie along with Obedience and Rally Trials, Best of Breed, Parada Dos Amigos (Parade of two friends), Raffle/Auction and an extraordinary dinner. Many thanks to Chair Elaine Rasmussen and all her volunteers.

There were some seriously misbehaved dogs in 2008. Fortunately, it was the year for Presidential Pardons. As the outgoing president, Ali issued pardons at the 2009 Annual Meeting. Click here to download the slideshow (PDF).
